Yarrambat Kennels & Cattery is a 5-star pet boarding kennel and cattery. Overlooking the Yarrambat Park Golf Course, we provide luxury dog and cat boarding for pet owners.

We offer premium yet affordable pet accommodation in fully refurbished, award winning facilities. Our Kitty Condos and dog boarding kennels provide the space, comfort, privacy and security your pets need to thrive in their temporary home away from home. We like to think of it less as boarding, and more like a luxurious getaway for your furry friend.

We provide the genuine care and affection that only true animal lovers can give, leaving you with complete peace of mind that your pet is being well looked after.

We are open for inspections between 11am and 2pm everyday except Sundays, School Holidays and Public Holidays.

Please note: To fully ensure the health and wellbeing of all our pets, we require proof of vaccination for all cats and dogs. All animals MUST BE vaccinated before boarding.

DOG BOARDING KENNELS

Our dog boarding kennels have been recently refurbished. Designed for comfort, security and privacy, our purpose-built dog kennels can accommodate all dog breeds and sizes. They are fully climate controlled with floor heating and air conditioning and each kennel includes clean and comfortable bedding and plenty of toys to play with.

Each kennel has access to a large outdoor grassed exercise area sheltered by shade sails. Each yard is shared between two kennels and your pet has access to the yard at all times during the whole day.

CATTERY

Our award winning Kitty Condo cat boarding accommodation is designed for safety, security and comfort. Whether your cat is active or older and more relaxed, they will feel right at home in our five-level deluxe Condo suites. With clean and comfortable bedding, separate toilet areas, and plenty of toys and scratching areas, they will be happy and stimulated, while feeling safe and secure. Solid walls separate neighbouring cats, giving even the most timid cats a full sense of security while also helping to maintain the highest possible level of hygiene.

We provide comfy hammock beds and blankets. If your pet is on medication or a special diet, please inform us before their stay. Please also ensure that all medications are clearly labelled with dosage instructions and in daily dose containers.

We encourage early arrivals, preferably no later than 12.00 PM, which will give your pooch time to settle in before night time.

OUR SERVICES

Please note that some anti-social larger dogs may incur a fee of $80 per day. Please enquire for more information. All prices include heating and air conditioning, bedding and food.
All dogs that have been with us for more then 5 days will receive a complimentary bath the day before they return home.

We do offer a 10% discount to pensioners and long term booking (four weeks or more). This discount does not apply during the Easter or Christmas holidays.
Holiday Rates; The following rates will apply over the Easter and Christmas Holidays. All Easter Holiday bookings must be a minimum of seven days or more, while Christmas bookings must be at least ten days long. A non-refundable deposit of $50 will be required during these times.

GROOMING

We have an on-site groomer available by appointment only.

Any dog that is with us for more than five days receives a complimentary bath at the end of their stay. This is a bath and blow dry ONLY.

KENNELS

Our dogs sleep indoors in heated kennels. We have floor heating in winter and evaporative cooling in summer.
At 8am, we give the dogs breakfast before opening the back door of each kennel into the partially sheltered exercise yards.
Some dogs have shared exercise yards while others have their own yards, but this is dependent on the temperament of each dog.
Dogs that are sharing exercise yards are only ever paired with similar sized dogs with compatible temperaments.
Weather depending, we leave these doors open until 5pm so the dogs can go to and from all day.
At 5 pm, we bring the dogs inside and feed dinner to those who are fed twice a day.

GROOMING AVAILABLE!

For stays longer than five days, your dog will be given a free warm hydro bath so it is clean and ready for its return home. For the comfort and safety of our guests, please ensure your pet is clean and free of falling hair before boarding with us.
