Yarrambat Kennels & Cattery is a family owned and run pet boarding kennel and cattery. We provide premium yet affordable dog and cat boarding in our fully refurbished facilities.
Our Cattery and Dog Boarding Kennels provide the comfort and space your pets need to thrive in their temporary home away from home. We like to think of it less as boarding, and more like a luxurious getaway. We provide the genuine care and affection that only true animal lovers can give meaning you can enjoy your holiday whilst having peace of mind that your beloved pets are safe, secure and happy.
Please note:
- Owners MUST show proof of up-to-date vaccination (C5 for dogs and F3 for cats) or boarding will be declined.
- Pick up & Drop off is between 8 am – 12 pm Monday to Saturday
- Inspections are 10 am – 11:30 am Monday to Saturday (excluding Sundays, School Holidays and Public Holidays)
DOG BOARDING KENNELS
Our dog boarding kennels are designed to allow ALL DAY exercise and shared playtime whilst also allowing the ability to relax in secure comfort.
Our kennels have:

- Large outdoor play area that ALL DOGS can access ALL DAY
- This is the LARGEST ALL DAY exercise yard of all the local kennels (it is 4 x 10 m)
- Shared playtime for sociable dogs

CATTERY
- Large, indoor, deluxe suites
- 3 levels in each room
- Windows for every cat
- Comfortable bedding and places cats can retreat to
- Separate toilet areas
- Lots of toys and scratching posts
- Very large, double enclosures for family cats to share
- Solid walls separating cats so they feel more secure and also maintain the highest level of hygiene

Our guests are fed Royal Canin and LifeWise dry food.
We are more than happy to feed your pet their own special diet if needed however. Please just let us know and bring it in a clearly labelled bag. Please note, there is a $3 / meal surcharge for feeding your pet’s own food, unless it is a veterinary prescribed diet)
MEDICATION
If your pet is currently on medication, we can potentially help administer this. Please call or email us to discuss this option and any extra costs involved. As we have limited space for animals requiring medicine administration and care, please ensure that this is discussed prior to booking or we may refuse your booking. Medication must be clearly labelled by a veterinarian and we will follow these instructions.
Please note that we do not accept diabetic, incontinent, very old or sick animals as we believe these animals should be under veterinary care. We also do not medicate cats.
