DOG BOARDING KENNELS – MELBOURNE
At Yarrambat Kennels and Cattery, we provide 5-star dog boarding designed to keep your precious pets cared for and pampered. Our boarding kennels have been refurbished and are fully climate controlled with floor heating and air conditioning throughout the entire complex. Designed for comfort, security and privacy, our purpose-built dog kennels can accommodate all dog breeds and sizes.
Located in Yarrambat in the north of Melbourne, we provide luxury dog boarding and accommodation for pet owners across Melbourne’s northern suburbs including Diamond Creek, Doreen, Eltham, Epping, Mernda, Mill Park, South Morang, Whittlesea and other nearby areas.
COMFORT AND PLENTY OF EXERCISE
Our dogs sleep indoors in temperature controlled kennels. We have floor heating in winter and evaporative cooling in summer. We provide all bedding and toys.
At 8am, we give the dogs breakfast before opening the back door of each kennel into the partially sheltered exercise yards that are 4 meters wide and 10 meters long.
Some dogs have shared exercise yards while others have their own yards, but this is dependent on the temperament of each dog.
Dogs that are sharing exercise yards are only ever paired with similar sized dogs with compatible temperaments.
Weather depending, we leave these doors open until 5pm so the dogs can go to and from all day.
At 5 pm, we bring the dogs inside and feed dinner to those who are fed twice a day.
Any dog that is with us for more than five days receives a complimentary bath at the end of their stay. This is a bath and blow dry ONLY; grooming is arranged separately though our groomer who can be contacted on 0459 328 058.
As for photos, we do provide photo updates via our facebook page during off peak times however we are unable to photograph every dog during the Christmas and Easter Holidays.
NUTRITION
We provide premium quality food from brands like Prime100, Blackhawk and LifeWise. If your pet requires a special diet or is a fussy eater, please discuss this with our staff prior to your pet boarding with us so we can make sure your pet is appropriately catered for. You are welcome to bring in your own food so long as it is clearly labelled with instructions.
VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS
Prior to your dog boarding with us, they must be cleaned and up to date with their C5 Vaccination. To ensure the health and safety of all our pets, we cannot board dogs that aren’t clean and properly vaccinated.
Please ensure you bring your dog’s vaccination certificate when you drop off your pet. To save time, you can also upload your dog’s vaccination details by registering your pet through our online registration form.

GROOMING AVAILABLE!
For stays longer than five days, your dog will be given a free warm hydro bath so it is clean and ready for its return home. For the comfort and safety of our guests, please ensure your pet is clean and free of falling hair before boarding with us.
